Project Managers continually look to enhance their project management skills and drive successful delivery. To address this need – and give PMPs continuing education credits – RTM Consulting has built out a project management curriculum focused on:
• Project Manager Accountability - Level setting and helping PM's to better understand their responsibilities, management and customer expectations, and their interactions with Regional and Global PMO’s, all to help standardize expectations and practices globally.
• Project Manager Responsibility, Authority, and Assessment – Designed to help PS managers better understand their PM’s responsibilities to facilitate giving PM’s a greater level of authority over all aspects of a project, and giving the PS organization the tools needed to properly measure and audit the project team’s progress.
• Training Delivery - Web based delivery means lower costs and greater flexibility to accommodate your teams’ varied schedules
Three (3) distinct and uniquely valuable Project Management Workshops:
Participants can attend all Workshops or select the sessions that address the participant's unique needs. Participants will walk away from each Workshop with a deeper understanding of key elements to Project Management success, and eligible participants will earn two (2) PDU’s for each workshop completed.
Workshop #1 - Achieving Breakthrough Customer Satisfaction Through Project Excellence Description: Using PMI’s 9 “Knowledge Areas” as the basis, this quick paced presentation focuses on the primary elements in each area to provide the foundation for pulling together a cohesive end-to-end view of a project’s critical success factors. Key Take-Away: Meeting customer expectations through mastering the key Project “Knowledge” disciplines.
Workshop #2 - Project Excellence Through Proactive Customer Communication Description: Leveraging key Project Control Tools (e.g., Earned Value, Charters, Schedules, Risk, Issues, & WSR), this workshop will focus on how to develop a strong communication plan and improve management of the customer experience. Key Take-Away: Creating a client partnership by mastering the use of key Project Control tools.
Workshop #3 - Project Excellence & Customer Satisfaction Through Inspection Description: Even the largest of organizations do not always have the bandwidth – or skills – to perform proper project reviews. This session will provide a set of tools and approaches that will help streamline the focus onto validating Scope, Schedule, & Cost in less than an hour a week, providing managers with the information needed to effectively evaluate project manager performance. Key Take-Away: Enacting a streamlined Project Evaluation process to assure continued delivery excellence and customer satisfaction as an input to employee appraisals.
